SEPTEMBER WORD OF THE LORD | REMEMBER HOW SUPERNATURAL YOU ARE
We just finished an incredible one-day mentoring course called Navigating the Supernatural, and I believe there is a word for you in this season:
Don’t forget how supernatural you are.
Acts 1:8 says:
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” — Acts 1:8
Life can become so full.
There are responsibilities, pressures, challenges, needs, and situations constantly competing for our attention. And sometimes, in the middle of everything going on around us, we can forget the supernatural power God has placed within us through His Holy Spirit.
But I believe the Lord is reminding us in September:
“You were never meant to live only by what you can accomplish in your own strength.”
We serve a supernatural God.
And that supernatural God lives in you.
As Janae Carlucci Jacobs, Tommy and Mary Evans, Mike Jacobs, and I ministered during Navigating the Supernatural, there was such a powerful anointing. We saw God move, we witnessed miracles, and people were activated to step out and begin flowing in the supernatural.
And I believe God wants to activate you, too.
Maybe life has been pulling you down.
Maybe you have been facing challenge after challenge.
Maybe you are believing God for healing yourself, or you need breakthrough in your family, finances, calling, or circumstances.
The Lord wants to remind you:
His power has not changed.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8
The Holy Spirit still heals.
He still speaks.
He still gives wisdom.
He still works miracles.
He still empowers ordinary believers to accomplish things they could never do in their own strength.
Paul reminds us:
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” — Ephesians 3:20
Notice that Scripture says His power is working in us.
You are not powerless.
You are not limited to what you see happening around you.
The Holy Spirit lives within you, and He has given you power to be His witness and demonstrate the reality of His Kingdom.
So this September, I want to encourage you:
Be activated again.
Ask the Holy Spirit to awaken your spiritual gifts.
Pray for the sick.
Listen for His voice.
Step out when He prompts you.
Believe Him for miracles.
And remember that you serve a supernatural God who desires to move through His people.
