A New Day

Hi. While praying for God's message of encouragement, I found myself awake at 3:17 a.m., jet-lagged and asking God to give me something for His people. And He spoke to me these words: "New day. Now." I pondered, 'What does a new day mean?' And this is what the Lord says to you, "I want to bring you fully into a new day. Isaiah 43:19—I'm doing a new thing, and old things must pass away."

"Don't remember the former things," Scripture advises. Yet, the Lord would say to those of you who doubt you can enter into a new day due to the many challenges faced, "Believe that I am ushering in a new day for you—a day where the problems that have pursued you for years, the struggles within your family, the financial burdens, will fade into the distance, visible only in your rearview mirror as you rejoice in their passing.

So, the Lord says, "Step into faith. I'm doing a new thing. It's going to surpass anything you've ever experienced. All those issues that have repeatedly struck and you've tirelessly fought against—the Lord declares, "I am bringing you into the new day." In this new day, "Do not dwell on past troubles. Believe—only believe—that I am making it happen," says the Lord. It's a new day.
