Special Guests

As we look at the state of our nation today, we can see there are many challenges and even more danger than ever before. Who would have thought that in Dallas, Texas, we would turn on our television sets and watch the horror of police officers being shot before our very eyes? Shot not in a bank robbery or hostage situation, but during a peaceful protest. This is the kind of scenario one might see on the big screen, but not in real life—especially not in our town!

The pain of our nation is being exhibited in living color on our television sets for all the world to see. What we may have thought was peaceful co-existence with those who threaten our way of life now appears to have only been a thin veneer of sincerity—hiding real intentions. We stand by and do nothing about extremism and terrorist activities from those who live among us, because we are fearful of being labeled racists and extremists ourselves. Police officers are being shot around the land and innocent blood is being spilled on the streets of our inner cities. In short, violence is out of control. We cannot keep ourselves and our children safe in the natural sense. We desperately need God’s intervention and healing for our land!

Recently, I felt led to look into the roots of racism in my own city and was shocked to find that they go deep and wide. I was further horrified to find that there are still KKK marches in Dallas, which at one time had the largest KKK chapter in America with 13,000 adherents. This hatred is bubbling up again and must be stopped. Racism is sin. We’re commanded to love one another, not hate others because of the color of their skin. Only the God of Love can stop this level of hate.

In addition to the external factors we face, we see our nation being torn apart internally by political division, even among family and friends. Statistics tell us that 3,000 babies are being murdered in the womb each day—right here in the United States. During the upcoming election in November, we will be voting to determine the fate of millions of babies in the future.

What can we do?  We need Supernatural intervention.

499 years ago, a reformer named Martin Luther lived in a time of ignorance and repression. He felt he had to find his voice and change his nation, so he did something that forever impacted the future. He tacked his thesis on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, thus beginning the Reformation.

Today we have our own thesis—a prayer list of things that must change. We need reformational intercession to appeal to God in Heaven, asking Him to heal our land.

Please come and join us in a night of prayer, as we do just that. It is hosted by Generals International, Mike and Cindy Jacobs, on October 31st, 2016, from 7:00 to 10:00 P. M. at the Christ for the Nations auditorium, 3404 Conway Street, Dallas, TX, 75224.

Worship will be led by Rick Pino and other worship leaders, such as Brazilian singer Ana Paula and gospel singer Kevin Levar.

Other honored guests include the Chief of the Dallas SWAT team, Bill Humphrey, the Chief of Neighborhood Plus, Alan Sims, Will Ford, co-author of History Makers, Dennis and Ginger Lindsey, Lisa Swayze, Sean Smith, and other local leaders.
