In addition, I taught on hearing the voice of God. It is interesting how the Holy Spirit led in that particular session. During the worship service, I felt a sweet presence of the Lord fall in the meeting. I think we had already 1,800 or so in attendance at that morning session. Not knowing the words to the songs being sung in Korean, I started hearing the Holy Spirit singing a sweet love song to the people.

At that moment I knew what the Lord wanted to do - He wanted to comfort His children. I asked the keyboard player to continue with the same melody and told the people that God wanted to demonstrate to them how much He loved them. They began to sing very simple words from their hearts of the Lord. They were so sweet.

“I love you, I really do. There is no one like you for me.”

Gazing into their faces, I saw many people weeping. I went onto say that the Holy Spirit has many moods and that He waned to manifest Himself as The God of all Comfort. Then, sensing that there were quite a few present that had not heard their parents tell them they were loved, I asked Mike if he would join me.

As we stood together, the Holy Spirit gave us a sweet duet to similar words:

“We love you. We really do. There is not one guide like you.”

By this time, Mike’s eyes were full of tears and mine were leaking as well. Precious.

After this we encouraged them to give each other very “un-Korean” type hugs instead of the usual formal bows. Oh, but it was so wonderful!

It had been my plan to teach on spiritual warfare that session, but I knew the anointing to teach on that subject simply wasn’t present, so I changed messages and taught on “How to Hear the Voice of God” instead. I used the experience they had just had as an illustration - how the Holy Spirit had just moved and how I listened to the Lord and followed the flow and plan of God.

Wow! I love my job! It just doesn’t get better than healing the heart of one soul and then turning around and having the privilege of healing a nation as well.

The Rose of Sharon nation, Korea, and its special people always leave the sweet fragrance of Christ in my soul each time I visit this beautiful and unique land.
