Dear Prayer Warriors,

 

For those who do not know me, my name is Frank Seignious. I am the State Coordinator in South Carolina for the Reformation Prayer Network. (RPN) This is our Root 52 Prayer Document to be a guide our 5 March - 12 March fasting and prayer over SC.

 

I am a native South Carolinian who loves this state and her people. Except for the years I served in the United State Army (1971-1973 - Georgia / New Jersey / Tennessee / Kentucky) and the head pastor of a church in Virginia (8 3/4 years - 1984-1992) - South Carolina has been my home. My forefather arrived in Charleston in 1789 / 1790. My roots run deep in SC - my heart is tied to the land and her people.

 

RPN - Root 52 is a intercessory prayer / spiritual warfare initiative for America. The purpose is to turn each State and eventually America back to her biblical values / heritage / roots - to establish or deepen biblical covenant roots - to thrust each State and America into divine destiny. Each week prayer warriors across America - all 50 States - are praying with His authority to change the atmosphere over a state and our nation. Revival does not last Lord - transformation is what we seek - transformation is what we are fighting for! Spiritual Warfare. We love all people - but we war against all spiritual sin and evil. Use this prayer guide - be guided and empowered by Holy Spirit. Below is my personal reflection.

 

When we finished on Friday about 7:15 pm ... exhausted mentally ... and read over the history of SC ... one word stood out in my heart and mind regarding my beloved home state of SC ... War! To be honest, I was a bit stunned! War - with the resulting fruit - is the single thing that dominates our state history. War - rebellion - bloodshed - violence - lawlessness - hate - anger - strife - poverty. These spirits of the evil one - continue to operate - hidden from the natural eye - but empowering the powers and principalities that negatively affect SC and America.

History of South Carolina - Roots & Entry Points of Evil
South Carolina stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Blue Ridge Mountains. SC ranks 40th in geographic area (31,113 square miles) and 26th in population. (4 million +) Tourism is one of our largest industries. SC is known as the Palmetto State.

 

1562 French Huguenots led by Jean Ribaut - Charlesfort - now Parris Island. Soldiers left revolted & returning to France via ship - horrors of voyage - cannibalism - (released root of lawlessness).

 
1566 Spanish - Santa Elena on site formerly known as Charlesfort. This Spanish settlement served as the capital of Spanish "La Florida" for about a decade.

 
1629 King Charles I of England issued a charter for "Carolina" - stretching coast to coast - including all or part of 15 States: SC / NC / GA / FL / Al / TN / MS / AR / TX / OK / NM / AZ / NV / CA + a sliver of Mexico. (Latitude: 29 N to 36 N)

 
1663 King Charles II issued new charter to Eight (8) lord Proprietors - who supported him in struggle with Puritans. Charter = reward for helping reclaim monarchy - given as a business venture.

 
1670 1st permanent European Settlement - Albemarle Pointe on Ashley River (Charles Town Landing /Charleston today) Charles Town was capital of province - one slave arrived on first ship.

 
1670 Many Treaties broken with Native Americans (defiled & cursed the land) expanding trade in deerskins / furs / and / Indian slaves. Carolina enslaved more Indians to export than any other English Colony. (bloodshed + covenant breaking)

 
1670's Pirates began trading with Anglican Barbadians for Indian Slavery.

 
1672 First Slave Ship Arrives - (between 60 - 80% of slaves came to America through port of Charleston) (bloodshed + covenant breaking).

 
1770 50% of SC were - slaves (spirit of fear - both black & white).

 
1861 pre Civil War - 402,406 slaves / 9,914 free blacks / 291,300 whites in SC.

 
1704 Walls of Old City Completed - Charleston was one of three (3) walled in cities in North America.

 

1704 Thousands of Indians (Native Americans - our 1st people) were captured and sold into slavery - then shipped out on ships that brought in black slaves (bloodshed + covenant breaking).

 
1715 Yemassee War - two years of war between SC settlers and various Native American Tribes: the Yemassee, Creek, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Catawba, Apalachee, Apalachicola, Yuchi, Savannah River Shawnee, Congaree, Waxhaws, Pee Dee, Cape Fear, Cheraw, Etiwan, and others. (bloodshed)

 
1717 Governor Johnson - "The greatest plague to us now is Piracy on our coast"( lawlessness).

 
1719 The Lord Proprietors claimed all the lands of the Yemassee - (land stolen - covenant breaking).

 
1736 Solomon's Lodge No 1, Ancient Freemasons - Chartered by The Grand Lodge of England 1735 organized - 29 October 1736 - at Shepheard's Tavern - corner Broad & Church Street (idolatry).

 
1750's Rice and Indigo - made low county planters & merchants wealthy. Inland SC and Upcountry experienced strong migrations of people - smaller farms - larger percentage of German, Scots- Irish and Welsh settlers.

 
1756 French & Indian War - SC turned on former allies - the Cherokees - burned villages - killing.

 

1776 First fighting and first decisive victory of Revolutionary War - repulse of a British fleet by patriot defenders in - Palmetto log fort on Sullivan's Island - 28 June

Over two hundred battles & skirmishes in SC - many killed were South Carolinians against South Carolinians (Whigs vs Tories). Battles at Kings Mountain (1780) and Cowpens (1781) were turning points in the war.

 

1777 Henry Laurens served as President of the Continental Congress 1777 & 1778.

 
1786 SC General Assembly passed legislation to create a new capital city.

 
1788 South Carolina became the eighth state to ratify the United States Constitution.

 
1790 Capital moved from Charleston to Columbia - seat of Government shifted - inland population out numbered low country 4 to 1.

 
1801 The first Scottish Rite Supreme Council of the thirty-third (33) degree for the World was founded 31 May 1801. This Mother Supreme Council has birthed 60 Sister Supreme Councils around the globe. (idolatry)

In South Carolina, many prayer warriors (apostles / prophets / intercessors / pastors / evangelist / teachers) have faithfully repented individually and corporately via Identificational Repentance for all of the above in the last 30 or more years. Our prayers and actions of the past have been heard in heaven and their spiritual impact has weakened the demonic structures over South Carolina. In our spiritual warfare, beachheads have been established / the atmosphere has been altered. However, none of the above arms have been completely severed. We believe we are now at a point of spiritual breakthrough that will bring transformation. We have made considerable progress as God's people fighting to bring in HIS KINGDOM rule of Justice, Peace and Righteousness. Please join us as we Decree and Declare the in breaking of God's Kingdom as South Carolina intentionally moves into destiny.

v people of integrity and honor will communicate truth to SC through all forms of media.
v people in SC will be able to discern via Holy Spirit ... truth from error ...good from evil
v individuals with a love of the truth will ascend this media mountain
v Almighty God would expose and remove all on the media mountain who distort & suppress truth

v an increase of creative ideas for intersecting culture through the arts & entertainment industry
v wholesome family entertainment will replace lewd ... lust filled ... entertainment
v For God to form His character in artists He is raising up ... that they would not succumb to evil
v all athletes ... musicians ... artist ... actors / actresses ... would choose the ancient humble path
