USRPN - 10/02/08 Urgent Prayer Bulletin for the Economy--Jerry Tuma

Dear Intercessors,

Below is an urgent prayer bulletin from Jerry Tuma, a prophetic economist who serves on the Apostolic Council of the USRPN.  Jerry has been instrumental in keeping us up-to-date on the condition of the U.S. economy, and has provided several bulletins to facilitate effective prayer for the purpose of stabilizing our economy to avoid economic collapse.

In line with Jerry Tuma's urgent call to prayer, I have included a prophetic alert I shared with the USRPN leadership early last week.  "...We need to P.U.S.H. (pray until something happens) to avert financial judgment."

In this USRPN Newsletter, you'll also find some spiritual mapping collected by Martha Lucia of the USRPN Apostolic Council, which is geared toward uncovering, uprooting and undoing through prayer, some of what is defiling and attempting to destroy our nation's economy.

Warring for the soul of our nation,

"Today, on September 29, 2008, the Stock Market in the United States went down 777 points in one day.  It is no coincidence that this happened on the first day of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah This is what the Lord is saying to me, There is a judgment on the land from the United States' negotiations to divide Jerusalem (Joel 3:2).  God will give us ten days leading up to the Day of Atonement to cry out to the land, come into repentance, and pray for mercy.  During this time the Lord is listening for our cries."

"Many people in the U.S. are currently fasting and praying for the upcoming elections.  While we do not want to let up in this final press, we need to P.U.S.H. (pray until something happens) to avert financial judgment."

"This is so severe in the economic area because we are facing judgment from the actions not only for our stance towards Israel, but our blatant sin against him in passing laws such as the one allowing homosexual marriages both in Massachusetts and California.

"It is time for the bridegroom to come out of the chamber and sound the alarm on His holy mountain and call all to pray."

The financial system has been in chaos and panic for the past several weeks. To avoid further meltdown and contagion of the financial system please pray the following:
 
#1  A coordinated global effort of the central banks (i.e., like the Federal Reserve) of the various countries of the world, with continued ongoing injections of mammoth amounts of credit and capital into the system to prevent a 1929 style meltdown.
 
Pray that the global leaders will come up with a working plan that needs to be implemented IMMEDIATELY.
#2  Pray that the credit markets will be released and restored to free up economic activity.
 
#3  Pray for a massive injection of capital into the stock markets.  This can come from a variety of sources such as, pensions rebalancing by selling bonds and buying stocks (as stocks are much undervalued).   

• Pray that multinational corporations will use large amounts of their capital to buy back their own stock.

We need a floor under the current market soon else the global contagion could get much worse.  Please call all intercessors within your networks to pray.  We need a coordinated global intercession to turn this thing around IMMEDIATELY.
