Dear Friends,
We are in a season where Satan is contending with us to try and stop us from going to the next level of faith and victory. Do not stop fighting the good fight! Hold on to the promises the Lord has given you, for favor and increase will certainly come to pass.
This is also a season of testing, and God is watching to see who will be His generals in the next season; He is raising up new leadership. Do not falter! God is looking to see who will pass the humility test as well as submission to authority. If you learn to be under authority, He will give you great authority.
Also, know there is a time of escalation coming so you must be full of the Word and full of grace to run the race well and see wealth released to build God's Kingdom purposes in your heart. Be faithful in your stewardship of finances and in time, you will see the blessing of God come back upon you in many waves.

Wash Washington
About ten months ago, Generals International hosted the Shift the Nation conference in Washington, DC. Over that weekend, a prophetic word came forth about the city and an immediate physical sign of its fulfillment, and it seems God is sending another wave of cleansing to the city.
Recent happenings in the nation’s capital surrounding the “DC Madam” are exposing more sin and corruption. In March, Deborah Jeane Palfrey was indicted on charges of running a “high-class call girl ring” in Washington, DC. Ms. Palfrey has, in the past week, given her exhaustive phone records to ABC news free of charge. Click here to go to CBS news and read more.
It is important that God sweep with His cleansing throughout Washington, DC prior to the next elections. Ask God to finish "washing" all the positions of authority in the government. Let's not stop praying until Washington, DC becomes the city set on a hill that our founding fathers dreamed it would be.

Cindy prophesied: “And the Lord says, ‘Because the youth for the Cause have come and been willing to take on Goliath’, says God, ‘surely the enemy has been bound to such a degree, that I could launch the invasion of holiness into this society’, says God. ‘AND I’M GOING TO WASH WASHINGTON, SAYS GOD! I’M GOING TO WASH WASHINGTON!’”
Chuck Pierce followed: “Now Father, send your flood upon this city, as a sign. Father, we call down the flood of heaven into this city and we say as a sign it will indicate that holiness is cleansing the Hill. Father, we say cleanse this Hill that you have purchased, in Jesus’ name!”
Dutch Sheets continued this message from God, sharing the word he had received that very day from Prophet Sam Brassfield of Austin, Texas, about God WASHING WASHINGTON. Click here to watch the video.
That very night, God began to fulfill the prophetic word and started washing Washington, DC. There was a spectacular lightning display and storm, which we took to be a sign of war taking place in the heavenlies. By Sunday evening, Washington, DC had flooded! We’re talking fish flopping in the streets flooded!

UPDATE - February 16 Prophetic Prayer Alert
“This is a season for the watchmen to arise.”
Many of you remember the Prophetic Prayer Alert issued by Generals International on February 16 calling intercessors to rise up and pray. Cindy prophesied that “there are underground plots and plans even now being devised that would try to bring terrorist attacks on soft targets,” and that there were “dark clouds coming to attack even the United States.”

On May 8, “six Islamic militants from Yugoslavia and the Middle East were arrested in New Jersey on charges of plotting to attack the Fort Dix Army post and 'kill as many soldiers as possible.'” All of the men arrested have been in the United States for many years. “This was a serious plot put together by people who were intent on harming Americans," said U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie”(Fox News 2007).
Additionally, shortly following the Virginia Tech incident, bomb threats and other security alerts were phoned, emailed and posted to online forums appearing on university campuses from San Francisco to Minnesota(CNN News).
A spirit of violence has been released in the nation as a result of the Virginia Tech shootings on April 16.
Intercessors, now is the time to press in and increase your prayers for the United States. The Lord says “I want to blow them [terrorists] away with my breath,” says God “I am just waiting for a cry from the land.” Ask God to protect and secure our borders, and cause his peace to go forth across the nation.
