A Letter From Cindy

 

Dear Friends,

 

I can honestly say that we are in the midst of a move of God here at Generals International!  We are progressing in a remarkable way to seeing our needs met.  Testimonies are pouring in from people who have remembered a Word of the Lord and are coming back to say thank you.  

 

For years our staff has noticed a pattern; we have prayed for, prophesied over, and mobilized prayer for so many people who have rarely asked what they could do to say thank you. After so long, I began to get discouraged about this situation, but I realize now that we are deeply loved.  Thank you so much!

 

Yesterday I received a phone call from a wonderful couple who had read my last note and wanted to help make up the difference we needed. They said,  “Cindy, we have been praying for you and want to issue a challenge to the people who care about you.” She went on to say, “We are going to send you a check for up to $15,000 that you can use only if people will give a matching amount.”  Her explanation continued by saying this will double everyone’s money and we will see our giving multiply.  As I write this, I am deeply grateful.

 

So, here is the challenge: We need the matching funds of $15,000 by July 7th, 2010.  Would you help us multiply?  Anything you give will be doubled!

 

I have to admit this is my first time at writing such a letter, but here is how you can help us meet the dead-line:  You can give over the phone by calling our Accounting Department at 972-514-7729 right away.  Someone will be available to take your call after hours or on weekends, or you can email our Accountant at lani@generals.org.  Also, you can click here to donate through our website, www.generals.org.  We've made it much easier for our international donors to give on our website now.  If you prefer, you can mail a gift to Generals International at P.O. Box 340 Red Oak, Texas.  If you are sending something by mail would you please call (or email) us, or write in the memo field of your check, "CHALLENGE".

 

Another idea is to sign up on our website to become a monthly partner and that will also be included in the matching of the $15,000.
