Dear Praying Friends,

On May 4- 5, 2008, we will be hosting a meeting in Laredo, TX, where a new coalition will form--BLEND: Christians Against Racism.

This coalition will begin with a prayer meeting Sunday evening for pastors and leaders hosted at Iglesia Cristiana Misericordia. A massive prayer gathering at the border will occur on Monday morning (Cinco de Mayo), where pastors from Mexico will join us on the bridge crossing the Rio Grande. United, the principality of racism in this nation will be torn down. For those in doubt that racism still exists today, read the attached report from Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council.

Local pastors at Laredo say that there is a heaviness at the border where so many have died trying to cross over or have been unjustly treated like criminals. Together, we will be repenting for abuses at the border, as well as illegal entry into the country.

Joining us are dear friends Harry Jackson, Samuel Rodriguez, Jr., Alemu Beeftu, Mark Gonzales, Will Ford, Herman Martir and the host pastors of Laredo, TX and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

In addition, Apostle Alemu Beeftu has received a prophetic revelation regarding racism in our nation, as well as a mandate to mobilize the Body of Christ to unite in prayer on April 10, 2008, in preparation for BLEND.

In this juncture of our nation's history, there is an urgent need for dedicated and courageous leadership. If we are to solve the problems ahead and make racial justice a reality, this leadership must be fourfold." Read more about CALL TO PRAYER 4/10/08.

Unite with us to prepare the way for BLEND by participating in CALL TO PRAYER on April 10, 2008. Mark your calendars for May 4-5 and join us in Laredo, TX for this two-part strategic prayer gathering to help change the course of the nation!
