Prayer at The Tokyo Stock Exchange
PRAYER AT TOKYO STOCK EXHCANGE, KABUTO-SHRINE AND BANK OF JAPAN
On October 29th (October 30th in Japan), a team of intercessors visited the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Kabuto-Shrine and the Bank of Japan.
We cut off the demonic influence over Japan’s economy and declared that the presence of God would fill each place. What we felt during and after the prayer was man’s greed and stubbornness in their heart. However, God showed us the importance of our faith and hope in Christ as we battle for the fulfillment of His plan in financial realm. Here are a couple of results of prayers:
(a) on the evening of the same day, Prime Minister Aso announced that the government of Japan would invest 26.9 trillion yen for the economical improvement
(b) On that day, the average stock prices in Japan went up and the difference marked the fourth highest record in the history
(c) On the following day, the Bank of Japan decided to reduce interest rates (0.2%)
We could see our prayers have tremendous impact on the finances in this nation. Let’s renew our hope and expect great things from the Lord.
Here are some details:
Tokyo Stock Exchange
When we visited, there were only a few staff members present, who were working with computers and some Media reporters.
There were a couple of Greek Statues by the entrance gate which represent gods of business, industry and agriculture. We heard that a holly tree was buried under the main entrance to keep evil spirits away. There was a talisman on the wall of the media anteroom. Although the whole building was equipped with the newest technology, they still depended of the power of various idols because of their greed. We prayed that the demonic power over the stock market would be broken. We also repented the sins of excessive debts and the flow of abnormal amounts of finances in a very ungodly way. Then we declared that finances would begin to flow into the right places in a godly way. We also declared that the leaders of Japan and other nations would receive wisdom from God and be good stewards of finances.
Kabuto-Shrine
The Kabuto-Shrine is a small shrine near the Tokyo Stock Exchange used to worship the god of business as well as other god. Many business people, especially those who are engaged into stock business visit this shrine to pray for prosperity. “Kabuto” is a helmet samurai warriors used to wear. Before the battle, samurais dedicated their helmet to pray for the victory. We thought that the same attitude is reflected in the business world; they pursue only their own benefit and try to defeat others, rather than bless one another or try to prosper together.
