Urgent Prayer Request for Jill Austin
Our very dear friend Jill Austin is in critical condition--and is in need of your prayers.
Jill had emergency surgery yesterday because her intestines were twisted and cutting off her blood and oxygen supply to several organs. Infection had set in, causing her to vomit continuously for days.
By the time the doctors went in, some of Jill's organs were severely damaged. Her colon and half of her kidey had to be removed and she is currently in need of a transplant. The doctor said that if the surgery had not been done she would not have been with us today.
Jill then experienced some complications, which required a second surgery to be performed just a few hours ago. She is currently in critical condition in ICU.
The nurses and doctors said her condition is very serious and life threatening--especially the next 24 hours. The situation is also is being complicated by high blood pressure.
Intercessors - pray fervently for Jill Austin. Pray for the doctors wisdom to be God's wisdom and for the doctors hands to be God's hands. Pray for health and life abundantly and for a full recovery, and whatever the Holy Spirit impresses upon you. Please pray right now!
Jill Austin is a mighty woman of God, who has been a trailblazer on earth for the Kingdom of Heaven. Jill is a very dear friend of this ministry, and has partnered with us in many ways, including serving as a member the Deborah Company Founder's Circle.

Call to Prayer for Israel & All Nations
Dear Intercessors,
The United States Reformation Prayer Network urges individuals, families, and churches to join us in 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting for "Awakening" in America.
We originally sent out a 21-Day Prayer Guide dated January 1 - 21, 2009. However, many have asked for a January 11-31 format so that they could have more time to prepare themselves as well as their networks for this time of consecration for our nation. Those who were not able to join us as of January 1, 2009, are encouraged to join us in a time of prayer and fasting from January 11-31, 2009, using an updated prayer guide, also prepared by USRPN Arizona State Prayer Coordinator and Apostolic Council Member Cheryl Sacks.
In this newsletter, we have also included a Call to Prayer for Israel and All Nations, as prepared by a group of leaders in Israel. "As Air Forces of Prayer in the United States, and abroad, we ask you to join the Ground Forces of Prayer in Jerusalem and Israel as a prayer and fasting shield during this critical time."
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend Convergence '09, April 16-18, 2009 in Dallas, TX. Not only will this conference be the USRPN's Second National Congress, gathering some of the finest generals of intercession from across the nation, but it will serve as a platform for shifting the current prayer movement. The purpose for this call to prayer and fasting is to pray for renewed spiritual passion, purpose, and purity in our own lives, then extend our prayers for awakening to our families, workplaces, churches, communities, and the nation.

Call to Prayer for Israel and All Nations
The USRPN is supporting a group of leaders from Israel in a call to a Forty-Day Daniel Fast and Prayer. Their time of fasting and prayer began on January 6, 2009, and ends on February 15, 2009. We encourage you however, to use the accompanying prayer guide to join them in prayer as soon as you are able.
As Air Forces of Prayer in all nations, we ask you to join the Ground Forces of Prayer in Jerusalem and Israel as a prayer and fasting shield during these forty days.

Please Sign Petition to Help Block Tax-Funded Abortions
(www.frc.org) As the new Congress convenes this week, twenty-term Congressman David Obey (D-Wis.) is chairman of the key House Appropriations Committee. This committee will play a key role in deciding the fate of 20 laws (called "riders") that ensure that U.S. taxpayers are not forced to hand-over their hard-earned dollars to pay for and promote abortion on demand.
Join The Family Research Council in petitioning Chairman Obey to keep these 20 riders intact in any funding bills that come through his committee. Action is needed now as a broad (omnibus) spending bill must be enacted by Congress before March of this year. New England States Need Your Prayers
(Washington Times) - Two New England states [Massachussetts and Connecticut] have already legalized same-sex marriage, and a Boston-based advocacy group wants to see the other four join them.
Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders, known as GLAD, has launched a first-of-its-kind regional campaign aimed at winning approval for same-sex marriage in the six-state New England region by 2012.

U.S. Cowers at Condemning U.N. Global Anti-Gay Laws
(www.frc.org) - This week the U.N. General Assembly became a battleground for homosexual rights when two very different declarations on "sexual orientation and gender identity" were read there. One, sponsored by France and the European Union (EU) and signed by 65 nations, argued that "sexual orientation and gender identity" should be a protected class under the existing norms of nondiscrimination. The other, sponsored by Egypt and signed by nearly 60 countries (mainly from the developing world), warned against using terms of dubious legal standing such as "gender identity" to make "new rights" that would burden many countries. Prayer at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange
On Oct. 29th, 2008 - The Day of Prayer for the Word's Economies - 30 Dutch intercessors from different cities met to pray for the economy at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
"We decided that it was important for us to heed your call to prayer after discovering that the Amsterdam Exchange is the oldest Exchange in the world dating back to 1611. We also found out that there are definite links between Amsterdam and New York. Wall Street is named after the Dutch "Wallen" (or "Walls" in English) which are located in the middle of the Red Light District of Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Exchange is also run by the New York Exchange and has official links to the exchanges in Brussels, Lisbon, London and Paris."
